We are thrilled to welcome Zamzam Ahmed, LADC to our team as a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern on the Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) track. With a passion for helping individuals overcome challenges, Zamzam specializes in treating substance use disorders and brings a unique perspective to mental health care.

Zamzam holds an Alcohol and Drug Counselor – Temporary (ADC-T) license and uses a culturally sensitive, compassionate approach to support clients, with a special focus on the East African and Muslim communities. By combining evidence-based interventions, Adlerian principles, and trauma-informed care, she empowers clients to navigate life’s challenges and reach their full potential.

When she’s not working with clients, Zamzam enjoys reading psychology and Islamic studies books, attending community workshops, and spreading awareness about mental health and substance use. In her downtime, she’s a fan of comedy shows and enjoys hitting the gym for some relaxation.
